I find I have to look up the day and date almost everyday. I hope you are all doing well .
It's been a rather sad week. No concert, no banquet - I needed to feel sorry for myself - a few tear along the way. I've been commiserating with my choral colleagues, most of whom all had their concerts planned for this time.
So, here we are it's Thursday, time to get back into a more positive frame of mind.
I do that by walking and listening to a good audio book while I walk. It seems the better the book, the further I walk.
I started a course on line this week. I find on-line courses really difficult, but I've decided its the way of the future, so I have to learn how to do it. I can't stick with it for more than an hour at a time. It's exactly the same problem the children have trying to learn at home.
A friend of mine was telling me about the highlight of her day. Her daughter asked her to Zoom-in at bed time for the little grand children. She set it up so that 'gramma' could read a bedtime story to the grand children. Everyone loved it. I thought it was such a great idea!
The one thing about all of this disruption is the way we are all challenged to be creative. I really enjoy seeing the results.
I'm closing with a video to give you an idea of where we are at.
Take care. Stay Connected.
Hi everyone. Just thought I'd let you know one of the things I've been doing with all this extra time on my hands. About 21 years ago, I purchased a kit from Colonial Times. I got started on it right away, but got interrupted. It spent some time under a blanket on a table in the basement. There was another flurry of activity about 10 years ago, but again it got interrupted. This spring it re-surfaced and this time I managed to finish!! It looks and sounds great. It was supposed to be delivered for our older son's wedding in Ottawa. He and his family are now living in Virginia, so delivery is going to be a bit more challenging.

Well, I had a double whammy of artistic heartbreak this past week. Like all of you, I mourned the loss of our concert. Last night would have been dress rehearsal for Beauty and the Beast and I have to admit, I was gobsmacked at how hard it hit me. Trying to get through opening night on this day.... it may have to be a drinking day!
We need to do an intervention for Terry if she has started doing puzzles like that!! That's cruel and unusual punishment!
